THE PARK

Acadia National Park is just seconds away and offers 52 miles of carriage roads and hiking trails. The carriage roads were originally build by John Rockefeller for casual rides in a carriage draw by his strong team of horses. Today, horses and carriages still use the road along with mountain bikers, hikers, joggers, bird watcher, nature photographers, and all those who want to sooth their souls in the sweet pine scented forests and rocky beaches of Acadia. A park pass, good for a day or a week, can be purchased just off the Bar Harbor Village Green or the Park Entrance stations.
